On Thursday 11th October Ilkley Business Forum expert speaker was Nick Bramley who shared tips and strategies on how successful businesses can harness every customer experience into sales, capturing feedback, working on continuous improvement and connecting the experience at every level of engagement. It was an informative and well received presentation.
The event was attended by over 25 business owners from the LS29 area and we welcomed a number of visitors from surrounding areas including Leeds and Scotland! We also gained an insight into 3 local businesses TaxAssist, Valley Clinic and The Art Shop who shared with us who they do, for whom and what is currently happening in their businesses.
As this was my first ‘proper’ networking meeting in my capacity as Chair, it was important to gain feedback from what members and visitors thought of the event.
Below are some of the comments from our first time visitors:
“Stimulating and enlightening”, Howard Mould, BGM
“A very useful evening. Speaker made some interesting points and made contacts in unexpected places”, John Thirlwell, Trading Pictures
“Like the interactive nature of networking beforehand and moving people around”, Mark Currie, Catapult Films
“Very useful and enjoyable evening. Friendly forum for networking”, Anon
