Exiting you business is not an event, its not all about the “deal”. Good exits depend on your strategic thinking before the deal, and the new purpose of your life...
A new community project has been developed by local photographer Alan Carmichael of Capricorn Photography, ‘Tales from behind the counter’ is a project developed to support the local independent shops and businesses of Ilkley.
“This great project has been designed to engage the local residential community of Ilkley and give something back, what better way of doing this than putting together a visual and digital story-board, showcasing the exceptional local independent businesses of Ilkley,” Alan Carmichael, Carpricorn Photography.
The storyboard will tell the tales of the owner behind the counter. Telling the story of why and how they got into business. This is a voluntary project put together by Alan Carmichael and Rachel Hatfield of Shoo Social Media.
“Not only will we create an exhibition of the local independent shop but we will also promote the storyboard across social media as well to reach those that cannot get to Ilkley,” Rachel Hatfield, Shoo Social Media.
The project team are still looking for businesses in Ilkley to get involved in the project. You can find out more about the project on social media: Twitter @ilkleytales_ and Facebook www.facebook.com/ilkleytales
